No human clinical trial was located for this molecule under either of its names, on PubMed or on ClinicalTrials.gov. The human trials frequently cited for CJC-1295 used the DAC form, which is a different molecule. What exists for the no-DAC form is analytical and forensic chemistry: detection method development in human urine and plasma and in equine plasma, and identification of the peptide in seized preparations.
What is not established
Pharmacokinetics, dose-response and safety in humans are unestablished for this form. The half-life figure of 5.8 to 8.1 days that circulates under the CJC-1295 name was measured on the DAC molecule and does not transfer, because the linker responsible for it is absent.
What distinguishes CJC-1295 No DAC
This is the form the name usually gets wrong. CJC-1295 no-DAC lacks the albumin-binding linker entirely and is chemically equivalent to Modified GRF 1-29, a tetrasubstituted GHRH 1-29 peptide. It is a genuinely different molecule from CJC-1295 with DAC, with different pharmacokinetics and none of that molecule's human data. Anti-doping laboratories list the two as separate target analytes. Most material sold in this category collapses the distinction; this catalogue lists them as two products because that is what they are.
